Saint Joseph Chapel

School Sisters of Saint Francis – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This was a challenging Church to take photos in because I was with a tour group and I’m very loathe to disrupt others prayer and interest. It’s a breathtakingly beautiful church and the stained glass windows, particularly in the adoration chapel, are absolutely stunning. We didn’t get to see it on this particular visit, but there is also a chapel that’s overflowing with amazing relics.

Adoration Chapel:

The stained glass windows in this adoration chapel are possibly the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

Note: The saint names listed on the stained glass windows in the adoration chapel are inscribed in their Latin form, e.g. Hieronymus is Latin for Jerome.

Other Stained Glass:

You can read more about the St. Joseph Chapel on the official website.

Welcome to Small Catholic

I’m fascinated by contrasts and have long enjoyed the concept of smallness, perhaps especially in the context of the wonder that comes from gazing up into the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica or enjoying the vastness of a starry sky.

I’m a Catholic, deacon-candidate-wife, mom/mom-in-law to 7; retired homeschool mom & parish DRE; ADHD, Celiac, HSP; I love learning and writing.
