I have a large collection of photos of Stations of the Cross from different churches that I’ve visited which you can view here. (for the sake of consistency, I like to share the 12th Station – the Crucifixion).

I recently visited St. Mary’s Visitation in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. I wasn’t able to take many photos because most of the lights were off, but I thought that the Stations of the Cross, which were well lit, were remarkably beautiful.

Welcome to Small Catholic

I’m fascinated by contrasts and have long enjoyed the concept of smallness, perhaps especially in the context of the wonder that comes from gazing up into the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica or enjoying the vastness of a starry sky.

I’m a Catholic, deacon-wife, mom/mom-in-law to 7; newly-minted grammy; retired homeschool mom & parish DRE; ADHD, Celiac, HSP; I love learning and writing.
