Church of the Gesu

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Mary and Joseph Side Altars:

Life of Christ Windows:

Rose Window:

I couldn’t see the whole window close up because of the pipe organ, but I have a pretty good guess on most of the saints and two photos: a clearer close up photo with more of the saints blocked and a farther, less clear photo, with all of the saints visible.

Clockwise from the Top: Guardian Angel, St. Agnes (lamb), St. Gregory the Great (dove), St. Helen (cross), St. Vincent de Paul, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Aloysius Gonzaga,
St. Benedict, St. Scholastica, St. George or St. Florian?, King David,
St. Ambrose (beehive), St. Cecilia (harp)

Welcome to Small Catholic

I’m fascinated by contrasts and have long enjoyed the concept of smallness, perhaps especially in the context of the wonder that comes from gazing up into the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica or enjoying the vastness of a starry sky.

I’m a Catholic, deacon-wife, mom/mom-in-law to 7; newly-minted grammy; retired homeschool mom & parish DRE; ADHD, Celiac, HSP; I love learning and writing.
